Battle of Stalingrad
Germany fought with its allies against the Soviet Union for the city of Stalingrad. The battle is known as the biggest confrontational battle of the war. -
Battle of Berlin
After Hitler’s breach of the Soviet unions nonaggression pact Stalin wanted to capture Berlin. The Soviet union and allies attacked German soldiers resulting in thousands dead. It was one of the last major battles because it ended in the German army surrendering and Adolf Hitler committing suicide.
