    When the cold Russian winter put a haunt on the invading German troops the soviets took advantage and made a counter strike leaving no hope for escape for the German soldiers, this was the first turning point of the war.
  • Invasion of italy

    Us and British troops invaded Italy, Italians had their faith in Mussolini‘s leader ship and had been over thrown leaving Italy’s new government to surrender to the allies. Italy joined the allied powers and declared war on Germany in October of 1943.

    Invasion of Western Europe had began and heavy casualties were suffered on both sides but on August 25, 1944 Paris was liberated from German occupation.
  • Battle of the bulge

    Germany launched a counter attack in Belgium and Luxembourg, this battle came to be the biggest battle of the war with loss on both sides being staggering but at this point this battle marked the loss of the war for most nazi leaders.
