battle where (BEF) and the allied powers evacuated from dunkirk. Germany was surrounding the area and with Hitler giving the ok to use tanks britain stated operation Dynamo which was the plan to evacuate. Which they did so by using boats. this battle marks the turning point in the war. -

This battle was a continuation of the germans plan to invade the soviet union and there main goal was moscow. The german army was hoping for a quick victory but faced difficulties in the freezing weather and the unexpected event in moscow to lose the battle. -
Pearl Harbor
This was a battle between The U.S and Japan where Japan hosted a surprise attack on The U.S (Hawaii) and brought the U.S and japan into the war. The attack on this island took down lots of ships one famous on being USS Arizona. This attack killed 2,403 people and wounded. -
Midway
Battle between the U.S and japan which was almost 100% fought with the use of aircraft. Japan wanted to stop the use of allied warfare nd in an attempt to complete that goal they sent bombers to Midway which was near hawaii to ruin their weapons and equipment. -
Normandy
also called D-day or operation overload. This battle was an invasion of western Europe which was a result of the previous battles that led Germany towards the west. -
Bulge
Battle which was hitler's last major offence. Ther germany had the upper hand in the beginning due to the element of surprise , but the when the freezing temps came both sides suffers many casualties due to the cold. -
Berlin
battle between germany and the soviet union which was a significant amount of bombs in the area, but hitler still wanted to save the land but in his attempt he died.
