Joseph Stalin thought it was a good way to keep the nation in peaceful terms and bulit up his miliarty, the pact also agreed on how the Soviet and the Nazi would divied Eastern Europe. On the other hand Hitler used this to invade Poland but later on the pact fell apart. -
