1934: MaoZedong heads Long March
The long March was a miraculous even when Mao Zedong led the Communist party away fromt he attcking Democratic Party. They eventually hid in caves and led the Japanese kill the Capatilist. -
1939: Germany invades Poland; France and Great Britain declare war on Germany
This what most people consider the start of WWII. While this led to the main parties in WWII to start fighting. All execpt the U.S. but this surprise attack was the begining of the fighting in Europe. -
1941: Japan attacks Pearl Harbor May
This event is what truly got the U.S. involed in the war. This would be the first and last attack against the U.S. on U.S. soil. After this the U.S. would ready it's armies and fight bot with france and britain in Europe and fight against Japan in the Pacific. -
1945: Germany surrenders Aug-Sept.
This is what most people consider the end of WWII but Japan was still fighting. Germany surrendered in the last battle of the Bulge and most of Germanies high command would be tried for crimes against humanity or commit suicide, -
1945: Allies use atomic bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki
These would be the only two atomic bombs to be dropped in world history. The japanese who prevously had not surrender was forced to surrender after to of their most heavily populated cities were decimated by the bomb. -
1945: United Nations formed
The united nations formed from mostly European countries would be a peace maker in Europe to try and prevent any more wars with this many causullaties.
