90 percent of votes went to Hitler out of the 95 percent of registered voters. 38 million people gave Hitler their approval to become the sole leader of Germany. -

Mussolini invaded Ethiopia because he wanted an easy win to boost his country's confidence. He would have much better opponents soon. -
Germany takes Rhineland and violates Treaty of Versailles
Hitler invade Rhineland and went against the Treaty of Versailles. It took the French Government about a year to decide how they were going to react after Hitler had moved troops into Rhineland. -

Both countries agreed to help each other expand their territories. They also agreed not to attack each other. -
Hitler Negotiates with and takes Austria
Hitler takes over Austria using no force what-so-ever. Most Austrians fully supported him. -
German takes Sudetenland and Annexes Czechoslavakia
Between October 1st and 10th Germany took over Sudetenland. Hitler asked permission to annex half of Czechoslovakia as well. -
Germany Invades Poland
September 1939, Germany invades Poland. The invasion was over within a couple weeks because the Poland army was defeated and Germany had superior supplies. -
