This did not give Germany all that it wanted; it limited them to certain areas and regions and gave them restrictions on what they could and could not join. FDR Announces the Good Neighbor Policy
In FDR's innauguration speech, he tells the people that we need to be "Good Neighbors" with Latin America and mend the relationship that was once broken. This is an attempt at shwoing that America does not want to be a world power and trying to keep war out of the air. -
Reciprocal Trade Agreement Act is signed into Law
It was seen that trade is a two-way street. If America was to buy from one country but not sell to them and vice versa it would infuriate them making a cause for war. In hopes of eliminating this situaution, this act was signed into law. -
U.S. Neutrality Act
The U.S. wanted to stay out of war as much as possible and didn't want to help anyone so no one could get mad at them for not being allies. Hitler invades and takes over areas not belonging to Germany
Hitler only signed the Treaty of Versailles because he was forced to. In that treaty, a lot was taken from Germany and land was a huge chunk of it. Hitler is now taking over the areas that were once his and later weren't. -
Hitler seizes all of Czechoslovakia
From the Munich Conference, Hitler was to get Czechoslovakia for peace, but he did not get all of it that he wanted. Hitler wanted the coal and oils and specialties of Czechoslovakia which weren't going to be given to him, so he forced the hand and took over Czechoslovakia on his own terms making the other countries mad. -
Soviet Union signs nonaggression act with Germany
This now meant that Germany could take over areas and do more things with more freedom now that they didn't need to fear a stab in the back from the Soviet Union. -

Germany broke the nonaggression pact with Poland by invading them making Britan and France also angry starting the offical war. -

Lend-Lease Act put into play
This was a way for America to help theie allies without actually fighting in the war. By lending or leasing the supplies, America's allies would not go into debt by buying them and America would still profit from it. This got them more allies and less threat of attack. -
The Bombing of Pearl Harbor
This bombing made America join the World War. Many men were killed, ships lost, aircrafts lost, and supplies lost. Even though it was only a 2 hour bombing, it had a devastating outcome. This made America declare war on Japan.
