Assassination of Franz (2)
Website used for information The Heir to Austrian throne was assasinated by Gavrilo Princip, Serbian terroists. Franz was killed, because he annexed (to take control of a territory by force) Bosnia. Bosnia wanted independence, so he was assasinated. He had three people attempting to kill him. The first two times were unsuccessful. The third killed Franz and his pregnant wife. -

Trench warfare conditions were pretty bad. Lice was very common and sanitary wasn't a option. You were almost always guareented you would die. -

The Lusitania was a ship that carried Americans to Liverpool. It remained safe, until May 1, 1915. The Captain had gone through the most dangerous part of the ocean, close to the shore (which mad them very easy targets for German submarines) Resulting in dead Americans. No one knows who really was the blame. It was the Captain's desision to do that. Which could be creditable or a conspiracy. Either way the Captain was faulted. -

Tanks, flamethrowers, and poison gas were all weapons used in WWI. Tanks made a big impact, because you could travel much safer and create more damage. Poison gas was probably one of the most useful weapon used in the war. It could make people blind and put a blanket of gas over a battle field hiding you from the enemy. -

The Zimmerman note was the English version of the cipher telegram. It went from a German ammbassader to an American ammbaseder in Britain. It said Mexico was to reclaim land in America. To get America in the war, since they were nuetral. -
