Archduke Franz Ferdinand is Assassinated
The archduke traveled to Sarajevo in June 1914 to check out the imperial armed forces in Bosnia and Herzegovina.The annexation had angered Serbian nationalists. A group of young nationalists plotted to kill the archduke during his visit to Sarajevo.He was shot to death by a Serbian nationalist named Gavrilo Princip in Serbia,Bosnia.When Archduke Ferdinand was assassinated it Sparked WWI. -

Avery got the news that the armistice was signed at 11am .Everyone was happy and “rejoicing” that the war was over.Avery says it was a “night to never be forgotten. -

Ww1 ends with the treaty of versailles .The treaty of versailles is a peace treaty that ended WWI with Germany and the Allied Powers.
