Big Idea
Our Big Idea is that if one person fears or hates a certain group of people and they share that fear or hate that person can make a huge difference. For example, Hitler hated Jewish people and he shared that hate which led to concentration camps and the mass-slaughter of Jews. Another example is the fear of Japanese people because of the bombing of Pearl Harbor. When Pearl Harbor was bombed many American citizens shared the fear of Japanese people which led to internment camps. -

For example, Jeanne's father lived in the U.S. for quite a while but he wasn't allowed to become a U.S. citizen and now he can. -
