The Allies troops rush to the shores of Normandy to try to librate France and to defeat the Germans. The Germans had control over France for a while now, and we slimply got tired of all the Nazi stuff that the Nazi are doing. We mainly wanted to librate France and to defeat the Germans. We lost alot of man. But wwe simply got Hitler to kill himself. Normandy ended on 25 Aug 1944 after we librate France. -

The military was able to have control of the island and was able to use the island to reful ships. It ended 26 March 1945 -
Battle Of Okinawa
The US military invaded the island of Okinawa werer there were 130,000 Japanese soilder waiting for them. We wanted to make the Japanese less pwerful so we could win the war. We lost a lot of good men, but we war the battle. It ended on 22 June 1945 -
VE Day
We celerbrated the day that the German troops laid down the arms and surrender to us and to Great Britian. The Allies had put preussre of the German army and had them fall back, then Hitler killed himself. Lots of people got drunk and had way to much fun. -
Dropping of the Atomic Bomb
The United States drop an atomic bomb on Hiroshima. Then a month later the United States drop another atombic bomb but this time it was on Nagasaki. The military did not want to do an land invasion becasue they wanted to save lives of thier soilders. So they drop the bomb. Thousand of Japnanese lives were taken that day, but the Japanese surrenderd to us. -
Battle Of Bulge
The German army was trying to split up the Allies defense so that it would leve the Germans could defeate them. The allies had the Germans troops surounded, and the Germans wasnt giving up. The Germans did push back some of the froces but they never broke through. There fore allowed the allies to regain strength and fight back.
