- Since the first tactic wasnt working they decided to raid London instead, hoping to make some impact upon the country

- many men were needed for this, but it worked as the germans were surprised

- if the plan had been excuted properly then the war would have ended early
- many soldiers were captured during this operation, it was a loss for the allies
