Invasion of Poland
Poland has a small military compared to Germany. The Nazis had help by the soviet union in defeating Poland. They spit up Poland for both groups to claim. -
Fall of France
German assault attacked the borders, and in soon time Germans reached Paris and then ended up defeating France. In the invasion they used dive bombers, tanks and artillery. -
Pearl Harbor
Japan bombed the american out post Pearl Harbor. The Japanese taught that they would be destroying the aircraft carriers but they had already left port so the bombing was not worth it. -
Battle of Midway
After the Japanese failure of trying to destroy the american aircraft carriers. American fighters found multiple Japanese aircraft carriers and sunk them. This is a huge victory for U.S because now they can dominate in the Pacific. -
The battle of Stalingrad
This is one of the best battles in Russian eyes, this is because it held off the Germans from entering Russia. If Germany won this battle it could have opened up lots of opportunity's because capturing the city would have given major resources and a very good location. -
The Battle of Italy
The Italian army was very weak and did not have a lot of resources, they gave there weapons to German and some amount of there troops were stationed in central Germany. Mussolini was taken out of office and went to jail and then was hanged. -
D day
The allies stormed the beach of Normandy and took heavy loses but ended up winning in the end. -
Battle of the Bulge
Hitler was looking down he was playing defense on the allies. He flanked his troops behind allies lines but they were eventually pushed back loosing 100,000 men and equipment. -
Atomic Bombs
After fighting in the pacific against Japan America had two atomic bombs that they dropped on Japan. Japan did not know that they only had two bombs they were worried that they had more and would bomb again. -
Germany Surrenders
Soviet troops enter Berlin where Hitler is, shortly he committed suicide and asked that his body to be burned. He didn't want to stand trial because he will be beaten and murdered so he rather kill himself. In a matter of days Berlin fell to the Soviets.
