    Battle of Atlantic Battle of the Altantic start from 1939 and end in 1945, it happened in whole Europe, it is the longest battle in WW2, even is the longest battle which fight in sky and sea in whole history. Germany used submarines to sink supply ships coming to Britain from other countries. Canada set up convoys that were protected by corvettes.

  • Battle of Britain

    Battle of BritainThis battle is a big aerial warfare from Germany to Britain, it continued for 15 months. Only Italy support Germany, other countries who is from the commonwealth or those countries under Nazis control all support Britain's army RAF. 3000 Nazi planes were shot down, so Germany could not invade Britain.

    Battle of the NetherlandsThis battle happened in Netherlands, May 10 1941, Nazis is the winner of this battle, Nazis uses paratrooper in this battle, Germany seize this country after this battle and Canada freed Metherlands in 1945 when Germany surrender.

    Pacific WarThis battle is a part of WW2, It starts from 1937, Japan declare a war to China and try to control the Asia, because of the relationship between Japan and Europe, Europe decide to cancael all the suport they gave Japan and ask Japan to retreat from China. Japan didn't allow to retreat, and even make a bombing in Pearl Harbor, so America threw two atomic bomb in Japan. Japan said they will surrender at discretion. That is the end of Pacific war.

    Battle of Hong KongThis battle began on 8 December, 1941, in HongKong, and it continued 17 days. The beginning of this battle is Japan attacked America at Pearl Harbor. The soilders in Hong Kong have to protect Hong Kong. Canada was beaten in this battle, because Japan has better weapon.

    Air WarThe Air War began on 25 April, 1942 and it continued around 3 years. The RCAF was very small in 1930, but in 1945 it became the 4th largest force in the world. And at the beginning of the war, German and Japan have benefits in air force and they almost win. So RCAF tried to attack German in the night for destroying its factories. But it was not very successful because many people died.

    The Dieppe RaidIt began on 19 Augest, 1942 in France. The beginning of the battle is the allies wanted to scare German and they wanted to find out how many soliders were on German coastal countries, and how much does it influence Germany. So that they attacked a small French coastal in Dieppe. Many people died, only a few people still alived.

    Battle of ItalyBattle of Italy is the important battle in the World War 2. This battle began on July 10, 1943 in Italy, and it kept almost 2 years. The beginning of this battle is Operation Husky. Canadian soliders took a island of Sicily. Ortana was also a important city on the way to inveded Rome where was defended by best German soldiers. However, Canada used "house-holing" to capture the city.

  • D-Day

    Normandy LandingD-day means Normandy landings and it placed in France. D-Day happened on June 6, 1944 in France. D-Day is the Canada's largest military operation of World War 2. Canada, Britain and USA attacked France for taking France back from German. Canada was sucessful at Juno Beach.
