The army of Japan decided to invade Muncharia. The Japanese army killed many Chinese soldiers and civilians. This was important to WW2 because even though Japan was told to withdraw from Muncharia and didn't, The U.S. and Great Britain didn't do anything because they wanted to keep trading with Japan. -
Tri-Partite Agreement
This agreement was between the United States, Great Britain, and France. This agreement was made to balance the nation's currencies. This is important to WW2 because now the each nations economy was stabilized and ended the currency war. -
Rape of Nanking
This was a massacre that lasted 6 weeks in Nanjing. Japanese troops murdered and raped the people of Nanjing. This is important to WW2 because the U.S. knew about this but didn't say anything because they wanted to stay allies with Japan. The reason why is because this allowed the U.S. to keep eyes on their enemies. -
Anschluss
This was the union between Austria Hungary and Germany. He was doing this because people who were speaking German were living in Austria so he planned to unite them together. This was important to WW2 because it was not allowed on the Treaty of Versailles. -
Munich Pact
This allowed Germany to conquer Czechoslovakia without creating war. Czechoslovakia wasn't even invited to the meeting that decided this decision. This is important to WW2 because now Germany has more land and people. -
Kristallnacht
Nazis of Germany began Setting synagogues on fire, destroying schools/homes/businesses, and killing Jews. This event lasted for 2 days. This is important to WW2 because this was a sign of what the Nazis were going to do to Jewish people. -

This was a treaty between Germany and the Soviet. This meant that Both Germany and Soviet Union would not attack each other. This was important to WW2 because this allowed Germany not to make the same mistake they did in WW1. This allowed Germany not to have a 2 front war. -

This was the evacuation of allied soldiers from the harbors and beaches of the north of France. This happened because Germany was just Invading France and pushed back British and French troops back. This was important to WW2 because it was a success and was a sign that Germany would lose. -

This was a system that allowed the U.S. to give aid or supplies to foreign nations that needed help. This included weapons also. This was important to WW2 because with this system, the U.S. could now help Great Britain. Also they later on declared war on Japan and Germany. -
Operation Barbarossa
On this day, Germany decided to invade the Soviet Union. Germany was planning to overthrow the Soviet Union since the beginning, even during the Non-aggression pact. This was important to WW2 because now Germany has to deal with a 2 front war. -

The United States Navy attacked the Japanese Navy to get revenge because of Pearl Harbor. This event lasted for 3 days. This was important to WW2 because this damaged Japan. -

This was when 156,000 American/British/Canadian troops landed on the coast of France and began attacking. This happened when France was finally getting free from Germany. This was important to WW2 because it showed that allies are a part of war. -
Liberation of Paris
Paris was under the control of Germany for 4 long years during WW2. Later on There was a military battle between Germany and France. Germany surrendered and Paris was free at last. This was important to WW2 because France was fighting Germany during this time. Also the people of Paris were being killed. -
Battle of the Bulge
This battle was suppose to split the allied armies with Blitzkrieg. This was another attack on the allied powers. This important to WW2 because this ruined the German army later on. -
Hitler's Suicide
The dictator of Germany shot himself with a pistol In a bunker on this day. His body was set on fire when they found him dead. This event is important to WW2 because he was the man who led Germany into this war. -
Surrender of Germany
On this day, Germany surrendered to the Allied powers. General Alfred surrendered all German force. This was Important to WW2 because it ended it. -
Hiroshima/Nagasaki
On this day, the United States dropped an atomic bombs on the city of Hiroshima. Three days later, another one was dropped on Nagasaki. This was important to WW2 because this was leading to the surrender of Japan.
