Dropping the Atomic bombs
What: An atomic bomb is dropped on Hiroshima, and later Nagasaki.
Why: President Truman wanted as little American lives as possible to suffer, so he ended war quicker with bombs.
Effects: Japan surrenders, initial blast and radiation killling hundreds of thousands. -

What: The day Japan surrenders to America.
Why: America bombed them till they gave up.
Effects: WW2 ends, many casualties.
