    This battle consisted of Allied troops verse German troops where the Germans tried to make a huge offensive push which made a bulge in the american line, and that is where the name of the battle gets it's name. They attacked here because they had to make a push soon or they would be overrun into Germany. This effectd WW2 by the Germans losing this battle and practicly the war.

    These were battles by the Allies and the Japanese along the Ryukyu Islands. The Allies pushed these islands because it was getting them closer and closer to Japan. This effected WW2 because with out these islands it would have been a lot harder to get to Japan.
