This invasion kinda started world war 2, it was the day after Germany and the Solvate Union signed the Molotov–Ribbentrop Pact. The Nazi army invaded Poland that morning and this made the Solvate Union upset because they got back stabbed, and this forced them to take action. Battle of Crete
This battle lasted 13 days it started on 5-20-1941 and ending on 6-1-1941. The war started with a German airborne invasion on the Greek island Crete, after one day of war the German had suffered heavy casualties but the second day Germany was able to get reinforcements in and overwhelm the Allied.
