    This battle was fought in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. The two countries that were involved in this battle were the U.S. and Japan, Japan had launched a surprise attack on this naval base. The importance of this battle was that it was what made the U.S. to join WW2. The end result of the battle was that most of our battleships were destroyed, 2,400 were killed and 1,200 were wounded. The importance of this battle was that it blocked the Allies route North to Rome. The end result was that the British and American losses counted up to 7,000 killed, 36,000 wounded or missing, and 44,000 hospitalized from various nonbattle injuries and sickness.
