The importance of this battle was that the Germans had successfully invaded Crete and gained many advantages. Operation Barbarossa
The battle was fought in Russia. The countries involved in this battle were Germany and the Soviet Union. The importance of this battle is that Germany attempted to invade Russia, but its failure forced Germany to fight in a two-front war against a coalition with greatly superior resources. Pearl Harbor
This battle was fought in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. The two countries that were involved in this battle were the U.S. and Japan, Japan had launched a surprise attack on this naval base. The importance of this battle was that it was what made the U.S. to join WW2. The end result of the battle was that most of our battleships were destroyed, 2,400 were killed and 1,200 were wounded. Monte Cassino
This battle was fought in Monte Cassino, Italy. The countries that fought in this battle were Germany, Italy, Britain, the U.S., France, North Africa, Canada, Poland, and parts of Asia. The importance of this battle was that it blocked the Allies route North to Rome. The importance of the battle was that it was an Allied invasion that led to the capture of Rome and the end of Fascist Italy.
