The genocide during WW2 where the Nazis murdered the Jewish people. Over the course of the war about 6 million jews had been killed. After the war only 1/3 of the Jewish population was remaining.

The United States responded to Pearl Harbor with two bombs. Nagasaki was bombed with "Fat Man" and Hiroshima was bombed with "Little Boy". These were the only atomic bombs ever used during war. Japan surendered after the bombing.
