FDR signs the Neutrality act. This bans travel, trade, and issues an arms embargo. -

Hitler goes back on his word from September 1938 and takes over Czechoslovakia. This frustrates all the countries he promised that he would stop his expansion. -
Hitler and Stalin Sign Non Aggression
Hitler and Stalin agree to no aggression towards each other. This allows Hitler to take Poland and Stalin strengthen his troops on the western front. -
Britain and France go to war with Germany
Britain and France had an agreement with Poland. After Poland was attacked by Germany they were quick to declare war and help them out. -
Japan joins the Axis powers
Japan is frustrated after the recently extended embargos that the US put in place against them. In retaliation to this Japan joins up with the Axis powers against the US. -
Lend Lease act
President Franklin Roosevelt signs the lend lease act. This act allows him to give money and war machines to Great Britain. This tremendously helped out Great Britain. -
Germany invades soviet union
Germany goes against their word from the non aggression pact and goes into Soviet Union. It is predicted that Germany could take them over in 3 months. -
Pearl Harbour
Japanese planes invade Hawaii and bomb Pearl Harbour. They aim for battleships in the Pearl Harbour. This attacked killed more than 2,000 US Servicemen. -
US goes to war
Germany, Italy, and Japan declare war on the US. The US returns by declaring war on them. US finally goes to war instead of sitting back, -
D-day
Allied forces arrive on Normandy beach to attack on the France shores. They get a win in a high casualty war, this marks a huge turning point in WW2. -
Hitler commits suicide
In fear of being captured by Allied forces closing in Hitler Commits suicide. He does this while in an underground bunker. -
Germany Surrenders
I day after Hitler's suicide in the bunker Germany signs a surrender. They were being overtaken and their leader had died they had no other choice than to surrender.
