    Resource Japan invaded China in 1937, thus launching the start of the Second Sino-Japanese War. It started off as a small little war to a big war. China was unable to go up against Japanese forces. Japan was so brutal that the Rape of Nanking took place. Japan moved up to the South taking control of Eastern China.

Old women over the age of 70 and little girls under the age of 8 were seually abused. More than 20,000 females were gang-raped then killed after. The Japanese forced Chinese men to rape their own daughters, sons to rape their mothers, and brothers their sisters.

Japanese soliders destroyed 20 American naval vessels, including eight enormous battleships, and more than 300 airplanes. More than 2,000 American soliders were killed, and 1,000 were wounded. This caused The U.S. to join in WW2!!
