Over 8,000 Jewish shops were sacked and looted, and tens of thousands of Jews were removed to concentration camps. This lead to the start of the Holocaust. -

This was when Gremany invaded Poland, it didn't last very long because Poland was defeated within weeks. When this happened Germany gained much more power than what they had before. -

This was when Allied forces were evacuated. It was the largest evacualtion of WW2. -

This was a suprise military strike by the Japan navy against the United States naval base. This lead to the U.S. entering into WW2. -

Over 75,000 fillopino and american soldiers on Bataan were forced to march 65 miles to a prison camp. This was a harch and unforgetable walk for the troops. -
Battle of Midway
This occured six months after Japan attacked Pearl Harbor. Japan was on the way to invade midway islands, but american troops were able to stop it from happening. After this we were equal and the U.S. took the offensive. This was the most important battle of WW2. -
D-Day
This was the largest invasion that the Allies did on Western Europe. Many american soldiers were killed and injured during this battle. -
Battle of the Bulge
The battle of the bulge went till January 25, 1945. This was the key turning point in WW2. It was when the Germans launched the last major offensive during the war. -
Yalta Conference
This was a meeting between the British prime minister Winston Churchill, the Soviet premier Joesph Stalin, and FDR about what they were going to do towards the end of WW2. They needed a plan and to be prepared. -
V E Day
This was a public holiday to mark the formal acceptance by the Allies of WW2 of the Nazi's surrender of it's armed forces. This was another event that lead to the war ending. -
The bombing of Heroshima
This was when the United States used their first atomic bomb in battle. It ened up killing over 75,000 civilians, which lead to the end of WW2 -
V J Day
It happened when Japan surrenered unconditionally to the Allies. This event ended WW2 also known as Victory over Japan Day.
