    The Japanese method was too move south seizing control of most of eastern China and all of the major ports by the time war broke out in Europe. The Japanese also moved up rivers and railroad lines into the interior of China.

  • Germanys invasion of Poland

    Around 5 am, about 1.5 million german troops invaded Poland all along its 1,750-mile border with German-controlled territory. The German Luftwaffe bombed Polish airfields, and German warships and U-boats attacked Polish naval forces in the Baltic Sea. Adolf Hitler claimed the invasion as a defensive backup but Britain and France was not convinced. So on September 3rd they declared war on germany and this became part of World War 2.

    Into the first phrase of the World War 2 in Europe, Germany sought to avoid a long war. Germany had a technique and it was to defeat its opponents in a short amount of time that they had. Over time German quickley took over much of Europe and had victory for more then two years by depending on their milititary tacic called the " Blitzkreig" ( lighting war).
    Blitzkreig tactics requried the concentration of offensive wepsons such as tanks, planes, and artillery along a narrow front.

    Germany began a massive invasion agaist the Soviet Union. About 4.5 million troops launched a surprise attack deployed from German also controlled Poland, Flinland, and Romania. The Germans also used the technique the German Blitzkreig, and in a single week they have killed, wounded, or captured more then 600,000 Red Army Troops. By December of 1941, German troops were insight of Moscow and laid siege on the city. But what really made the germans suffer was the Russain winter.

    The Russian winter also known as ( General Winter ) set in and the Germans quickly came to a halt. By the end of this winter, Germans had suffered nearly 775,000 casualties and more than 800,000 Soviets had been killed, and an additional 6 million Soviet soldiers had been wounded or captured. Hitlers plan to take over the Soviet Union was now runied because of this harsh winter.

    Before the ar, Warsaw had the largest jewish community. Between July and September 1942, the Germans began shipping the Jews in Warsaw to death camps, or concentration camps. On January 9, 1943 more then 8000 jews were deported. This triggered many fights with Warsaw. The Jews of Warsaw began collectiong guns and wepons. On April of 1943, word camw that the Germans were going to deport more Jews. The Jews got ready to fight and this began the Warsaw Guetto Uprising.

    The Potsdamn Deceleration was issued by the u.s president, U.K's prime minister and some others calling for the surrender of Japan in World War 2. he Potsdamn Deceleration also outlined the terms of surrender for Japan. If Japan didnt surrender, it stated that they would face " prompt and utter destruction". Japan did not surreneder to the Potsdam deceleration and this led the us presidents decision to drop the atomic bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki on Aguest 6thand 9th 1945
