Neutrality Act
The Neutrality Act of 1939 was significant to the U.S becoming involved in the war because Roosevelt felt very limited by their Neutrality Acts. So to bring aid, Congress passed the Neutrality act of 1939 which enabled the United States to Aid to certain nations and allowed them to buy goods and weapons in the U.S. -

Lend-Lease Act
The Lend-Lease Act in 1941 allowed the United States to get involved on technicalities. Allowed Roosevelt to “sell or lend” money to other nations, aiding them and in the end they ended up “lending” more than 40 billion dollars to the Allies and even the Soviet Union. -

The attack on Pearl Harbor happened on Dec. 7th, 1941. The Japanese destroyed many naval ships. -

The United Nations in 1945 allowed the United States along with other nations to get involved with aiding the Jewish. It also medicated regional conflicts and provided food and other aid to different parts of the world. -
Universal Declaration
The Universal Declaration of Human Rights in 1948 helped the U.S get involved because together the United Nations formed this right. It also basically helped get rid of slavery and get involved.
