    Japanese invasion of China
    It took place in China and Vietnam. It went from July 7th, 1937 to September 9th. Japan wanted war with China after they began a full-scale resistance to Japan's expansion in China's territory. China was sick of Japan taking over and ruling their territory. Japan ended up surrendering from this invasion in Manchuria.

  • German Blitzkrieg

    German Blitzkrieg
    It was around May 1240 when Germany was invading Belgium, Netherlands, and France. It is known as a lighting attack used by Nazi Germany from WW11. There was an even amount of air and land attacks that the Germans wanted to succeed and take over. They did take over the countries and gain more power from using this tactic.

    Battle of Britain
    Battle took place in the United Kingdom on July 10th, 1940. Germany had done a good job of taking over the big countries, but they still hadn't had Great Britain. Germany bombed Britain to destroy their airforce and invade their country. British were able to fight them off and win the battle against Germany.

    Battle in France took place from May 10th, 1940 to June 25th. Germany had invaded Frace and took over Paris. Germany was power-hungry and Hitler wanted to control the world. Taking over France was a goal for Germany and they had been successful.

    Took place in Midway Atoll, and started June 4th, 1942 to June 7th. The US Navy defeated Japan while they were trying to attack Midway. Japan wanted to take it over because it was the closest US base to Japan. Americans won and retired while Japan stopped the expansion of their empire in the Pacific.

    The Battle at Normandy Landings in France on June 6th, 1944.
    The Allied Forces attacked one of France's main bases. They snuck in through the waterside to attack unexpectedly. They won and took over which led to a huge turning point of WW11.

    The bombing of Tokyo was March 10th, 1945 in the Japanese capital, Tokyo. US warplanes launched a new bombing offense against Japan. They dropped bombs all over Tokyo and led to many casualties and ruined the capital.

  • Battle of Iwo Jima

    Battle of Iwo Jima
    Between many countries such as Iwo Jima, Ogasawara, and Tokyo from February 19th, 1945 to March 25th. Between Japan and the US one of the first major battles of WW11. The United States needed the Iwo Jima island as a base for their fighter planes and bombs. The Japenese used tactics to run and limit their casualties while the US still took the land.
