  • Battle of Tannensberg

    This was the 1st battle of WW1 and resulted in fighting between Russia and Germany with 13,000 casualties on the German side and 122,000 casualties on the Russain side. Even though the Russians suffered a huge loss they still won the battle. The location in which this happened is Olsztyn, Poland.

    This battle lasted 8 months and resulted in 58,000 Allied Soldiers casualties and on the central powers side about 65,000 killed and about 300,000 wounded. The Central powers won this battle.

They said the ship was carrying supplies over to England, which was their Enemy. America now joins WW1 and is on the Allied Powers, though trying to stay fairly neutral throughout the war.

    Germany sent a telegram to Mexico to start a border war with them because they didn't think the U.S was prepared. In return, he promised them Texas, New Mexico, and Arizona. This got leaked to the public and shown that Germany was now a U.S enemy.
  • Treaty of Versailles

    This treaty ended WW1 once and for all in Paris, France. This War lasted 5 years with about 37 million casualties. The Allied Powers won.
