Carla was sent to get right to work
The soldiers only had a blanket and they were getting sicker with ammonia and she alone had 60 patients and each room had 12 beds in it for the night and day nurses to sleep because they were all exhausted. She was getting sick from not taking care of herself after working so hard. -

They had a yard full of patients and they were just now setting up the unti so they did not have any uniforms and also it took them hours to ge everything prepared so there were french soldiers and they found a american man who had chose to fight on the german side -
Their first Air Raid
They would hear drowns and planes and she stood near the window so she could watch the fire display and she described it as ¨ A million stars in the sky¨ She was pulled away from the window by a man who fancied her and after that a piece of the air craft fell through her window and it was red hot and almost hit her if he would not have moved her. -
