Gavrilo Princip, was the one who shot and killed Franz Ferdinand after seeing their car drive by after surviving a previous assassination attempt. Franz Ferdinand's death was a leading stone to the first world war

    On July 28, Austria-Hungary declared war on Serbia and thus began what would be called the great war. This happened shortly after the assassination of Franz Ferdinand. This started when Austria-Hungary declares war on Serbia.

    This was one of the longest and bloodiest battle of WW1. It had lasted 10 months when it had ended there was no clear winner. It happened on the western front in France.

    This was the first battle of WW1 to occur. This battle was fought between the British empire the French empire and the German empire. This battle included about one million casualties counting both sides.

    During this event Germany tried to convince Mexico to join in on the war if America joined. Germany promised that if Mexico helped and they won they would give them their lost territory's in Texas, New Mexico, and Arizona.

    This was a revolution that happened in the Russian empire. This happened because people were beginning to become upset with the loss of lives that occurred during the war, and this was also a major fact for them to end up leaving the war.
