    On June 28th, a Serbian nationalist murder Archduke Franz Ferdinand and his wife Duchess Sophie while paying a state visit to the capital of Bosnia Sarajevo. Even though major political powers of Europe were formed before the death of the Archduke, the killing of him did give way to the Great War. After the murder, central power Austria immediately blamed Serbia for the death of Franz, and Russia an allies and Serbia's Slavic ally mobilized its army on the border of Austria-Hungary.

However, both side wanted each other to starve and after a britain blockade on Germany and making it impossinle for them to recieve supply. A German U-Boat sunk the british passenger ship On May 7 1915, The death tool on the ship was 1,198 and 128 of them were Americans. Most americans saw this attack as an unproked act on civilians and wilson angrilly demand that germany to stop the attack which they agree too.

    In January 1917, German foreign secretary Arthur Zimmermann sent a telegram to the German ambassador in mexico instructing him to have a deal with Mexico. If Mexico join Germany, German would help take back the lands Mexico lost to the United State. Which include, Texas, Arizona, New Mexico. In March Wilson made the letter public and three US ship were torpedoed by U-boats. on top of all this Wilson Was Articulating his Vision of the world.

On top of this Wilson make it clear that he will not tolerate any disloyalty toward the war. on April 6th US declared war on Germany.

Wilson won the passage of the Selective act in mid-may from 121,000 enlisted soldier to more than 4 million. The act gave Wilson the right to enlist men for WWI, the law requiered most US men in their ealy twenty's to be enlisted for the war. Most of the Soldier consist of Poorly educated, white, single men. Women weren't allowed in military service, but could enlist as nurses or clerical work.

The espionage act found anyone who have been intented to interfere with US involvement in the war guilty. Anyone who badmouth the war could get fined or 20 years of jailtime. in expansion of the Espionage Act the Sedection Act was passed in 1918 these two act allow the Government to prosecute anyone who offense the government of the president.

Under his control he decide which company will convert to teh production of war materials and to whom they should go to. The board manage production, resources, increase organization and decrease waste.

    Wilson's Fourteen Points is a speech of how the world is going to come together to prevent further conflicts. He outline free trades, reductions in armaments, he also made a proposal for a league of nation that would help implement these new principles and territorial adjustments and resolve future controversies. Wilson's beliefe was that if international community accept certain basic principle of conduct and construct instutions to implement them, the world would be at peace.

    Wilson travel to france to discuss a peace treaty, principle allied figure were present. However, wilson's idealism atmosphere, and the fear of the unstable situation in eastern Europe and the treath of communism challenged the conference. on January 25, 1919 the allies voted to accept the league of nation as an international convention, also wislon's strongly believed that this convention will prevent furture wars.
