    The assassination of Francis Ferdinand
    video of assationation Franz Ferdinad went to Sarajevo to inspect the Austro-Hungarian troops. A Serbian group felt they should assassinate Archduke. The terrorists tried throwing grenades but it did not his his car. It was another terrorist, Gavrilo Princip who fired two shots. The first hit his wife and the second hit him. They both died.

But the tank would have one obstical to over come and that was the trenches./Gas-the first kind of gas was tear gas it was a big impact because the Americans didnt know what to do and people were dropping but then they invent the gas mask./Machine Guns- were used heavily in the trenches because they could set it up so if they had people getting out of the trenches into no mans land they could just unload.

    during the war the women were brought into the labor force. Many women worked in ammunition factories. They had to deal with explosive chemicals and worked long hours. The women at home also had to take over the farming. Women also sewed bandages and sold war bonds.

    The British declared the Norht Sea a combat area on November 3, 1914. The British blockade was designed to hurt the German economy. Food shortages became severe in 1916. This led to malnutrition and starvation, The British also layed minefields to sink the German ships.

Than the ship enterd Ireland and a torpedo fired by the Germans submarine, The captain of the submarine was Walter Schwiegar.

    Woodrow Wilson was a Democratic party and won the election with 277 Electoral votes being 277 and 9,129,606. Charles E. Hughes was with the Republican party and had 254 Electoral votes and 8,538,221 Popular Votes.The Election was taking place right away when Europe was embroiled in World War 1. One thing that the americans like about Wison was his slogan "He kept us out of war"

    The zimmerman note was really a telegram it was sent from a German official in Germany to a official in Mexico asking him to join the aliance with Germans. The Germans told them that they would heop get USA back to for the Mexicans, bit it wasen't Germany asking them to attack USA. But than the English government intersepted it and showed it to the media which basically gorced Amercia into war.

    Examples-the WIB managed the labors by giving good wages to avoid strikes.The WIB persuaded companies to increase manufacturing of war products. It also balanced the materials needed for war and the U.S. people.
