    These acts targeted socialist and labor leaders who threatened the war effort. It violated the first amendment because it restricted freedom of speech. Schenck v. US was the supreme court case on the enforcement of the Espionage act durring WW1

    Main peace treaty after WW1. Punished Germany with limitations on their military and huge payments to victorious countries.

    The 19th amendment was ratified on August 18, 1920 which gave women the right to vote. Women started doing jobs that were previously done by men because lots of men had left those jobs for the war
