The Annexation of Sudetenland
Adolf Hitler, the leader of Nazi Germany, had called for Czechoslovakia to meet demands so that the areas of Czechoslovakia known as the Sudetenland to Germany to annex and realign itself with Germany. This lead to the Munich Agreement, where Hitler would have control over the Sudetenland with no more territorial gains for Germany after that. He broke his promise a year later.

Germany invades Poland, causing Great Britain and France to declare war. Germany would then invade several countries. The country would also conduct air raids on Britain while making pacts with the Soviet Union, Japan, and Italy.

Los Alamos Labs A.K.A. MANHATTAN PROJECT
The origins of this project began when Albert Einstein wrote a letter to FDR about Germany researching nuclear weapons. This led to a project that lasted for six years, eventually resulting in the atomic bombs that were later used in Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

Attack on Pearl Harbor
The Japanese were set on conquering the Pacific, and saw the US naval fleet at Pearl Harbor as a threat. So the Japanese gathered 353 planes and sent them to attack on Dec. 7th, sinking four battleships, including the U.S.S. Arizona with only 29 planes lost and killing 2,403 Americans. Japanese Internment Camps
After the attack on Pearl Harbor, President FDR signed Order 9066, forcing Japanese-Americans to abandon their homes and property and to be relocated to these camps where they would be detained and lived at. Battle of Midway
The Japanese fleet take part in a battle with the rebuilt US fleet near Midway Atoll. Due to previous campaigns, Japan was unable to keep up with the industry of the US, and as a result, lost the battle with most of their fleet destroyed. This battle is considered a turning point in the Pacific Theater.

The Guadalcanal Campaign
The Japanese had conquered the Guadalcanal islands. After the US had declared war on Japan, their army focused on liberating the Guadalcanal islands which lasted about a whole year. After several attempts by the Japanese to retake the islands, the Japanese gave up on trying to retake it, allowing the US to start "island hopping".

Battle of Stalingrad
In August of 1942, Adolf Hitler decided to break off his peace pact with the Soviet Union to invade it in order to make "living space" for the people of Germany. The German soldiers were not prepared for the cold and harsh winters of Russia however. The battle lasted until Feb. 2nd, 1943 as a Soviet victory, and persuaded the Soviet Union to join the Allies.

D-Day
After heavy planning by the Allied Forces, several US battleships were sent to the coast of Normandy, France. After heavy bombing of the coastline and the landings of paratroopers, several soldiers were sent to several beaches on the coast, such as Omaha, where they were met with fierce German resistance. The Japanese army conquered the Philippine islands. After The US declares war, their army attempts to liberate all of the islands and finally succeeds doing so in 1945 after the Battle at Piso Point.

The Yalta Meeting
Roosevelt, Churchill, and Stalin met for the second time to agree on plans for Germany's unconditional surrender and the postwar world. This and the Potsdam Meeting helped the background that led to the Cold War.

Fall of Berlin
During this last offensive push of the European Theater, the Soviet army took Berlin by force, using the same strategy they used in Stalingrad. Hitler's Suicide
On April 30th, as defeat became more evident, Hitler and his wife went into his personal study, where they would then commit suicide by Hitler shooting himself with a Walther PPK, and his wife by cyanide. Both bodies were cremated by Hitlers's personal guards.

Bombing of Hiroshima
The US had decided to use the Atomic Bomb. The US then sent a warning to Japan, which Japan ignored. On Aug. 6th, the US sent out a bomber out over to Japan, where it would drop "Little Boy" on Hiroshima, which killed 129,000 people.
