WW2 Begins: The invasion of Poland
Poland was to be partitioned between two powers, enabled Germany to attack Poland without fear of Soviet intervention. Germany invaded as the Polish army was defeated within weeks of the invasion. Later on around September 27 Warsaw surrendered to Germany around Sep 27, 1939. -
The combined forces of ABDA
The Allies in the south-west Pacific set up a combined force of America, British, Dutch, and Australia. They are under the command of General Sir Archibald Wavell. The main goal between the Alliance was to maintain control of the Malay Barrier from the Germans. -
US forces try to capture Midway Island
The US forces tried to capture Midway Island near the Pacific. The Japanese lured the american solders to a trap as a defensive attack. The american plan was to handicap the Japanese defenses to get through the barrier.
