Is a national treaty between two or more countries saying not to go to war with eachother but to peacefully fix any problems there may be between the countries. It had the countries hoping that they could avoid war from then on. -
Germany invades Poland
Was also known as September Campaign. Germany and the Soviet Union invaded Poland which was the beginning of WWII in Europe. -
Blitzkrieg
Also known as Lightning War. It was fast, short, and powerful attacks and the Gremans would dislocate them using speed and surprise, and then encircle them. -
Battle of Britain
Was also known as the air Battle for Britain that was against the United Kingdom. The Battle was fought by Air forces and was a great way to distroy and take control of the ememys land. -
Lend-Lease Act
Let the United States lend supplies to Great Britain, Free France and China for the war trying to help there allies to keep the war away from the United States which later failed when Japan bombed Pearl Harbor. -
Operation Barbarossa
Was a code name for when Germany was going to invade the Soviet Union. The invasion was confirmed by Hitler and was the largest invasion in warfare history. -
Pearl Harbor
When Japan bombed the military station in Hawaii killing around two thousand people which got the United States involved in the war to get back at Japan. -

Ensured the coopertation of administrative leaders of government departments in the implementation. -
Bataan Death March
A 60 mile march to Camp O'Donnell for the prisoners. lots of prisoners escaped and hid within the city crowds and a lot people died while on there way to the camp. -
Battle of Midway
Was 6 months after the japans attack on Pearl Harbor and was one of the most important naval battles. It was Japans first naval defeat since the battle of Shimonoseki. -
Battle of Stalingrad
A magor battle against the Nazis and the Soviet Union to gain control of Stalingrad, a city in the South-Western Soviet Union. -
D-Day
The day in which a combact attack or operation was to happen. H-Day was for when the hour of that day it was supposed to happen. -
Battle of the Bulge
Was an unsuccessful attempt planned by hitler for the offensive Germans to try pushing the allies off of the German home land. -
Battle of Iwo Jima
A major battle against the United States Armed Forces and the Japanese fought for Iwo Jima. The United States won the battle and gained control of the island. -
Battle of Okinawa
The code name was Operation Iceberg and was fought against the United States and Japan on the Ryukyu Islands. -
V-E Day
Officially announced the end of World War Two in Europe. -
The Bombing of Hiroshima/Nagasaki
The only use of nuclear weapons in warfare used to finish the war by distroying Japan during the final stages of the war. -
V-J Day
Is also known as Victory in the Pacific which was the day Japan surrendered ending WWII -
Warsaw Pact
Was the Teaty of Friendship, Mutual Assistance, and co-operation. The treaty was among 8 communist states of Central and Eastern Europe.
