Appeasement / Munich Act
Meeting in Munich, Germany with France, Germany, Italy, and Britan. This meeting offed Hitler more land if he would quit expanding his attempts to Sudetenland in Czechoslovakia. Sudetenland was an extremely vital defense and bank system to Czechoslovakia. -
Hitler's Betrayal
Hitler takes back Appeasement and takes all of Czechoslovakia. This is the point in time where we see Hitler's dark side. Turmoil increases after this, and Hitler gets a little out of hand. -
Roosevelt Makes a Deal
Roosevelt makes deal with Britain: 50 destroyers in exchange for important naval bases in Newfoundland, Bermuda, Caribbean & South Atlantic. Roosevelt, once before an advocator of isolationism, slowly eased US out of that. -
US Embargo on Japan
US felt extremely uneasy against the turmoil caused by Japan. Many pacts were made between Nazi Germany and Japan, therefore US extended it's embargo to oil, steel and iron. This was a fator to Japan joining the Axis Powers.
