The Great Depression began after the stock market crash in October 1929. In the 1930's it began in the United States. -
The Rise of Fascism- Germany, Italy, and Japan.
The cause of this was the Treaty of Peace. They all had to deal with some kind of government issue. -
Genocide and the Holocaust begins
Hitler brought genocide to the table when he gained absolute power over the government. Hitler wanted total power, he even sent people to concentration camps. The holocaust was when jews were killed. -
I Declare WAR
First Germany tanks rolled into Poland. Then when France and Britain heard about this they declared war on Germany. -
Pearl Harbor and America's Response
More Americans recognized the threat that the Nazis posed to their country. Whole neighborhoods were destroyed and thousands of civilians were killed. -

Japan bombed Pearl Harbor. It ruined most of the Americans military. America sided with 25 other countries because Japan was so big. Both sides lost but Japan lost major. -
D-DAY AND THE WAR IN THE PACIFIC
The war was postponed due to bad weather. The invasion was a masterful coordination of allied land. -
Wars ending
They have driven Germans almost completely out of France and Belgium. There was another victory on the western border against hitler's forces and Germany. -
Germany War ends
Soviet troops were sweeping westward across Europe. The Final blow to Hitler's German army occurred the following spring. -
Plans for Peace and the Atomic Bomb
The United Nations begins. Yalta conference did not resolve their issues. People started to work on the atomic bomb. -
Nuremberg War trials begin
These were a series of trials held by the allied forces. It is also the international laws and the laws of world war 2.
