    This was an extremely deadly war. The Nazis fought against the Red Army to have control of Stalingrad. The death toll reached up to 1.2 million. August 23, 1942 - Febuary 2, 1943.

    This battle lasted from July 10 - October 31, 1940. It resulted in a British victory.
  • Operation Torch

    Americans invaded French Morocco and gained their first major victory in ww2.
  • Attack on Pearl Harrbor

    The Japanese surprise attacked America by air and sea.
  • The Battle of Midway

    The Battle of Midway is named that because it was actually fought on Midway Island between America and Japan. It only lasted about 3 days but gave us a good upper hand.
  • Atomic Bombing Nagasaki

    On August 9th, 1945 we dropped a second atomic bomb on Japan.
  • Monuments, Fine Arts, and Archives Program

    This was a program created in 1943, it was established to protect land and culture.

    This was the first war that put a stop to the German army in WWll. July 5- August 23, 1943.

    The Battle of the Bulge was an extremely deadly war fought by the United States. It lasted about 6 weeks and our allies won.

    The Battle of Iwo Jima was an extremely bloody battle where we finally captured the Island of Iwo Jima.

    This war was fought between American soldiers and the Japanese. There were over 12,000 deaths and lasted from April 1,- June 22, 1945

    FDR collapsed and died from a hemorrhage.

    Adolf Hitler killed himself with his wife Ava Braun.
  • Atomic Bombing of Hiroshima

    On August 6th, 1945, we dropped an atomic bomb on Hiroshiman.
  • D-Day

    D-day was the day Americans, Canada, and The United Kingdom stormed the beaches of Normandy. It was the largest sea-born attack.
