Knows as a full scale war. Germany helped economically with Chinas fight agains Japan. After Japans attack on Pearl Harbor China becoomes allies with Germany. Germany, U.S. and the Soviet Union helps China with economices. China then declaires war on Japan and its allies. China recovers all territories lost in the end. -

Destruction and Slaughter on a mass scale, espeacially caused by fire or nucler war. Lead by Germany and Hitler. People were sent to concentration camps. Germany took over nerw territory in Europe. Murder rate: 2 Million Jews and partisans. Often killed by mass shootings. Most sent to concentratin camps were killed later in gas chambers. Lasting till the end of WWII. -
Munich Conference
Theh pact signed by Great Britian, Fance, Italy and Germany op September 29, 1938 by which the sudetenland was ceded to Germany. Negotiated in Munich, Germany. Known as a failed act towards Germany. Czechoslovakia was not invited to the Conference so they felt that they were betrayed by the UK and France. Also known as Munich Agreement -
Germany invades Poland
Germany invades Poland which officially begins WWII after signing the Non-Agresstion pact. The Soviet Union agrees that they would not defend Poland from Germany attack. -

Military fight. Fash and short surprise attacks, beaking through an enamies line, Using aircrafts and tanks. Tacticks inclued Counter-insurgency, Foxhole, Guerrilla warfare, Tactical objectives, Trench Warfare, Aerial, Ect. The space not only inclueds ssland but also by Air and Sea. -

also know as the "Air battle for England". German airforce goes against UK in the summer of 1940. -
Battle of Stalingrad
Over 2 million casualties. Known as the bloodies battle of WWII. Soviet defence on Stalingrad, which is known now as Volgograd. -

U.S. military help to foregin nations in WWII. Proposed in 1940, Passed in 1941. Proposed in 1940 and in March 1941. The principal means of providing U.S. Military aid to foriegn nations during WWII. -
Non-Agresstion Pact
Between Germany and the Soviet Union. Soviet Union agrees to not come to Polands aid when Germany invades them. Lasted untill 1941 -
Operation Barbarossa
Biggest military operation in Germany. Germany invades Soviet Untion. 3 million or more Axis troops, 3,500 in tanks. -
Pearl Harbor
A suprise military attack stike conducted by the imperial Japanese Navy against the U.S. Naval base Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. on the morning of December 7, 1941. -
Battle of Midwaya
Americas carriors and planes on land defeat a fleet of Japan, that was on its way to invading Midway Islands. -
D Day
The day in WWII on which allied forces invaded northern France by means of beach landing in Normandy. 5 landing zones in France within a 50-mile stretch. D day was set to take place on June 5th byt had been post poned due to terrible weather. The rate of deaths for sucessful landing for D-Day was 10,000 dead and 30,000 wounded. New technologies incluued swimming tanks and the flame thrower. The U.s. sufffers over 2,000 casualties. -

Battle of Okinawa
Also knon as Operration Iceberg. Fought in Ryukyu Islands of Okinawa. The battle lasted about days. After island hopping the allies finally make it to Japan and planned to use Okinawa for air operations. Okinawa is a large island miles off of the mainland of Japan. Bataan Death March
The death march consisted of over 78,000 prisoners in Japan. The walked from Marileves and Bagac to Camp O'Donell, apporxametly 60 miles. With a result of over 21,600+ Dead American and Filipino prisoners. -
V-E Day
The day marking allied vitory in Europe. Nazi Germanys surrender of armed forces, which ends WWII in Europe. A national holiday for allied countries. -
Bombing of Hiroshima/Nagasaki
United States and UK against Japan. The boming caused 129,000+ people known as the only use of nuclear warefare in war history. The bombing happened in the 6th and final year of WWII on the mainland of Japan. Japan refused to accept allies and refused to surrender. Using 2 types of bombs, one after the other. Although the bomb exploded before hitting land in Hiroshima the blast equals up to 12-15,000 tons of TNT. These bombs destroyed miles of the city and killed oer 90,000-166,000 people. -
V-J Day
Theh victory over Japan. The day in 1945 on which Japan ceased fighting WWII, or the day Japan formally surrenders. September 2 was the day Japan had a formal surrender veremony, performed in Tokyo Bay, Japan. Also known as :"The memorial day for the end of the war." -
