Britich troops are forced to retreat because the Germany have pushed very deep into France. Dunkirk is the closes point between France and Britain. The British estimated that at best only 50,000 troops would be able to be evaucated. After everything had finished approximatley 340,00 troops were evacuted, For this to happen the British Govenment called for all ships no matter what they were to head overy to Dunkirk and rescure the British and french troops. -

Soon after 176,00 men are streamed across the channel to recover Normandy. Allied forced designate a 45 mile strech of Normandy coastline to bring in 5 planes carring troops and supplies. This is bloodiest day in American history, 2.500 soliders died on french soil. -

With a single bomb 40,000 men women and children are obliterated in an instant. 100,00 more die for radiation and burns. Despite all of this destruction Japan still refuses to accept Allied surrender terms. -

The Japanese finally accepts unconditional surrender terms and World War II is finally over after 6 million people, 3% of the world had lost their lives the war is finally over and the worl returns to peace....untill the cold war, then every starts up again.
