    The Invasion of Ethiopia was when Italy saw that Ethiopia had annihilated many Italian forces and this caused them to want there land back so they fought aggressively with air power and gas and this led to WWII because by giving substances to imperialists claims it also caused high tension between the fascist states and western democracies.
  • Munich Conference

    Munich Conference
    The Munich agreement was an agreement signed by Germany, Great Britain, and France saying that Czechoslovakia must surrender their border regions and defenses to Nazi Germany.This Impacted WWII because it broke out a war between Germany and Czechoslovakia because Germany wanted their land because it had a big part of German ethnicity.
  • Invasion of Poland

    The invasion of Poland happened because Germany wanted back land they had lost.In order to get this land back the Germans were going to use a strategy call "Blitzkrieg".When they used this strategy they bombed them ruined their air capacity, rail roads, communications and more.While they did this they also invaded on land with tanks and artillery while Poland was under equipped.The impact this had on WWII was that the Germans aggression caused Britain and Poland to call war on Germany.

    The battle of Britain was between Britain's air force and Nazi Germany's air force.This was the first battle fought just in the air.They all took to the air for control of the air over Britain, Germany, and the English channel.After France fell to Germany then they wanted the soviet union too but they still had to fight Britain.Then one night Britain decides to bomb German.this effected WWII because it showed how much courage places had and showed the Nazis they weren't going to rule them.

    On December 7,1941 Japan hit one of the us naval bases by surprise at pearl harbor Hawaii.This had impacted WWII because later on the us used atomic bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

    Island hopping was when the U.S. took over Japanese islands so they could advance quickly.They also couldn't take over these islands sometimes.Sometimes they would have to skip over them if they were heavily defended.The impact that this had on WWII was that it helped the U.S. advance faster than other countries.

    The battle of Moscow was between the Nazi Germany and the Soviet union during WWII and the Germans thought they were going to have a easy battle but they ended up losing between 250-400 thousand troops.This impacted WWII because it ended Germans idea to takeover Moscow and doomed the third Reich.

    The Tunisia Campaign was when the an ally amphibious landing near Sfax in eastern Tunisia and an attack on German positions at Gafsa in west central Tunisia.Then the British army crossed the border form Libya into Tunisia.And this impacted WWII because they took over 200,000 troops from Germany and Italy.

    The battle of Stalingrad was a battle between Russian, Nazi Germany forces and the axis powers.This battle is also know as one of the longest and bloodiest battles in modern warfare.During the time of this battle nearly two million people were killed including tens of thousand of Russia's civilians. The impact this had on WWII was that it gave Hitler and the axis powers better chances in the war.
  • D-Day

    D-Day
    D-Day also known as the Normandy Invasion was when about 150,000 American, British, and Canadian forces landed on five beaches on about a 50 mile stretch. This also was one of the biggest amphibious military assaults which means they used ships to protect ground and air power.This impacted WWII because it made France become liberated and denied Germany of any of there resources.
  • Kamikaze

    The Kamikaze happened during the battle of Leyte gulf and the Kamikaze was planes loaded with bombs.The kamikaze would get a target and then they would commit suicide by crashing and exploding.They would mainly target the us cargo and people they use this suicide bombing method because what they did before was stopping them.The impact this had on WWII was that it sunk 34 ships and damaged many others.
  • Hiroshima & Nagasaki

    On august 6,1945 and august 9,1945 there was an atomic bombing on Hiroshima and Nagasaki.First on august 6,1945 that's when the city of japan called Hiroshima was first attacked,the first American B-29 bomber dropped the worlds first deployed atomic bomb and the bomb immediately killed about 80,000 people. Later about 10,000 more died from exposure to radiation.Three days later another B-29 Bomber dropped an atomic bomb on Nagasaki and killed about 40,000 people.this killed american,English too.
  • Second Sino-Japanese war

    The second Sino-Japanese war also know as the eight year war of anti Japanese resistance.This war started with the Marco polo bridge incident.The Marco polo bridge incident was where Japanese and Chinese soldiers were stationed near the Marco polo bridge where they exchanged shots at each other and then soon turned into a war.This war ended with Japan surrendering because Russia troops had started to invade too.
