Battle of Midway
A four day war; first major victory that Allies are able to have, able to control what’s happening in the Pacific Area. Midway is a small island that refueled planes. Japan and USA fought to see who was going to keep the island. USA won because they cracked the code and knew where Japan was. They took over Midway and refueled their airplanes there in order to get to Japan. -

An Allied Offensive
The Battle of Midway was a four day war, which the Allies won. Midway was a small island in the pacific. Battle to win this place in the middle where they could stop and refuel and continue their mission. MacArthur had a plan of "Island-hop" the Japanese strong islands, and the battle ended about 6 moths after. -
D - Day
D- Day the Us army invasion of Normandy who makes them lose lots of soldiers in the invasion. Plan by General Eisenhower in order for US to get involved in the European part of the war in June 6, 1944. USA entered through Normandy island which allowed them to get into France. Battle of The Bulge
Germans launch the last major offensive of the war, Operation Mist, also known as the Ardennes Offensive and the Battle of the Bulge, an attempt to push the Allied front line west from northern France to northwestern Belgium. Germans pushed through the American defensive line, and was the largest fought on the Western front. -
Yalta Conference
The US. President, British Prime Minister and Soviet Premier attended this important confrence wich they were deciding on the future progress of the war and the postwar world. -
Battle of Okinawa
The largest and last Pacific Island battle of World War II. Pojected invasion of Japan, there were about 14000 dead. -
Germany's Surrender
Allied forced continued to Berlin and General Eisenhower accepted the surrender and it was signed. -
Hiroshima Atomic Bomb
America drops atomic bombs on Hiroshima to end the war. -
Nagasaki Atomic Bomb
Three days later the second Atomic bomb was droped by Truman. It killed more than 7,000 people and so many more were severely injured ingured. -
Japan's Surrender
Japans finally surrender and the war ends.
