Battle of Britain
Referred to as Germany's last stand against the Allied Powers. They bombed much of Britain, but ultimately failed in their plans to take Britain.

Lend Lease Act
The United States gave weapons to Britain in exchange for cash. This later lead to loans. This helped take the U.S. out of isolationism and picked sides with Britain and France.

Japanese Bombing of Pearl Harbor
The Japanese bombed American Naval base Pearl Harbor in retaliation of an oil embargo. This sent America into World War II.

The U.S. declared war on Germany and Japan after Pearl Harbor. This ended our neutrality and rocketed us into WWII.

The U.S. was victorious against Japan in a sea and air battle. This was a decisive win for the United States, especially after Pearl Harbor.

Soviet victory after Operation Barbarossa, the German invasion of the Soviet Union. This severely damaged morale and power of the German juggernaut.

Japan Gets Blown the Heck Up
The United States dropped the first atomic bomb on the Japanese city of Hiroshima. This led to the surrender of Japan out of WWII.
