    The Battle of Manchuria was between the Soviet Union and Japan. This Battle was fought in the northeastern China city of Manchuria. Japan invaded Manchuria becasue they needed raw war materials.

    These are laws that excluded jews from German Life and the laws also took away some of their natural rights.Some laws were that the Jews could not marry Germans or the Jews were forbidden to raise the German flag. If the Jews disobeyed any of these rules then they would be punished with hard labor or execution. All of these laws were made by the Nazis

    Kristallnacht is when the Nazi's went and torched Jewish Synagouges and vandalized Jew's homes, schools and businesses. This event killed over 100 Jews.

    This invasion was when Germany invaded Poland,it was conducted by Adolf Hitler, a famous leader of Germany. During the invasion of Poland Hitler demanded that the Polish Corridor, and its port city of Danzig should be returned to Germany.

    On May 22ed of 1939 Italy and Germany signed the 'Pact of Steel' this was finalizing the alliance with military provisions. This alliance was also an alliance with Japan.

    This is the invasion of Poland where the Soviet Union meets up with German troops and fought for almost two weeks against the Polish. Durning this invasion Germany and the Soviet Union were allies.

    France surrenders on June 22 of 1940 due to Paris's fall. The way France surrenders is by signing an armistice with Germany. An armistice is an agreement made by countries to stop fighting for a certain amount of time.

    The Battle of Britain was between Great Britain, Nazi Gernany, and Italy. This Battle lasted from July 10th of 1940 until May 10th of 1941. The reason why this battle ened was because Hitler decieded to call off his attacks so he could focus more on Eastern Eurpoe and the Mediterranean.

    The Lend Lease Act was made by the United States, saying that the US should provide military aid to any foregin country in World War II. It was said that the president must arms and materials to any country in WWII was vital for the United States defense

    When Germany invaded the Soviet Union, the Soviet Union wasn't prepared at all. They did have 5 million men in their army, but they were not well equipped or trained. This invasion lasted a while until the Germans were 500 miles inside the Soviet Union.

    This was a joint decloration between Great Britain and the United States. The decloration upheld free trade and the right of peopel to choose thier government. After this Charter was made it later served as the Allies peace plan at the end of World War II.

    Pearl Harbor was when Japanese fighting planes attacked the American Naval Base in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. This attack killed over 2,000 American Soliders and Sailors in this attack and wounded 1,000 of them. The day after the Pear Harbor attack president Roodevelt declared war on Japan due to the damage they left in America and the amount of people they killed.

    Over 127,000 Japanese people that lived in America were put in Internment Camps to make sure they were not a threat to the rest of the Americans. The reason the Americans put Japanese in camps was becasue they did not want anything else dangerous happen after the Pearl Harbor Attacks. These camps did not kill the Japanese, they just kept them in "Captivity" to make sure they were not a threat and they were also working camps.

    This Battle happened six months after Pearl Harbor, it was against the United States and Japan. There were 2,500 casualties in this Battle. This was just the begining on the war between the USA and Japan.

    The countries involed in this invasion are Nazi Germany, the United States, Italy, and Great Britain. During this invasion the Allies invaded Italy's mainland for 5 days. What the people in Italy didn't know was that Italy's government had agreeed to the Allies' terms for surrender,

    On June 6th of 1944 troops from Great Britain, America, France, and Canada all fought their way through a 60-mile stretch of beach in Normandy. Over 3,000 soliders died that day. D-day is now one of the most well known events in American history.

    On June 7th of 1945 Germany signed a uncontitional surrender in France. This Surrender took effect the next day, ending all european conflict in World War II.

    This was a Bombing of a Japanese city called Nagasaki. The United States dropped an Atomic Bomb on this City. The atomic bomb destoryed the city and killed 39,000 Japanese people.

    18.) Bombing of Hiroshima
    The bombing of Hiroshima happened just 2 days after the bombing of Nagasaki.This was also an atomic bomb dropped on Japan by the United States. This bombing was more deadly than the first one. The bombing of Hiroshima killed 66,000 people.

    The Japanese surrender World War II and there war against the United States just shortly after the bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. The reason why they surrendered was because they lost too many lives and they could not lose any more. On September 2nd of 1945 Japan surrendered from World War II.
