Battle of Britain
The Battle of Britain was a failed attack led by Adolf Hitler, The British and the Germans fought in the skies over the United Kingdom it was the largest sky attack in history, the Germans f targeting Britain’s air bases, military posts and, ultimately, its civilian population. On September 7th Germany, attempting to weaken the country's resolve, by bombing the British capital. But they failed so they suspended the Battle of Britain. -
Operation Barbarossa
On June 22, 1941, Hitler ordered his armies eastward in a massive invasion of the Russia Soviet Union, Barbarossa was a huge turning point of the war it forced the Germans to attack from two front leaving the Nazi troops bankrupt from resources, which led to the downfall of Germany. -
Attack on Pearl Harbor
Pearl Harbor was a U.S naval base, in Hawaii, that was attacked by the Japanese without warning on December 7, 1941, which destroyed many of america naval vessels such as the U.S.S Arizona, and many more like airplanes, and over 2,000 American citizens were killed, led by Yamamoto. Which made America to join the war and President Franklin D. Roosevelt. United States was the only nation capable of combating Japanese aggression because England was already occupied with fighting the Germans. -
Battle of Midway
The attack on midway was an attack made by the U.S to Japan 6 months after the attack on Pear harbor, The Japanese wanted to finish what was left of the Pacific Fleet, and take over Hawaii and hold its people hostage and force the United States to sue for peace. But their plan did not work the United States surprised Japan with an attack which left them with 307 men lost, the carrier Yorktown, one destroyer and 150 aircraft, Japan with 3,500 men lost, four carriers, a cruiser and 332 aircraft. -
D-Day
D-day was the greatest invasion of the allied forces, their was troops mixed with America, Canada, and British soldiers on the beaches of Normandy in France. Hitler tried all he can to respond to the attack by pouring all his troops to Western Europe, Russia was already taking care of the east, Which led to the end the war. -

Bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki
The Bombing of the two cities were devastating, the bomb that was dropped was an atomic bomb, the first ever atomic bomb, 90 percent of the city was wiped out and many died instantly. More than 100,000 of the population was killed and many died after because of radioactive poisoning, and Japan still refused to surrender. It was surely the world´s cruel bomb. -
Battle of Berlin
Battle of Berlin was the Berlin Strategic Offensive Operation by the Soviet Union, The alliances plan was to take over all of the Western part of Europe. The alliances fought long and strong and they came out victorious in the battle, that was the last battle for the Germans because Hitler then shot himself in the mouth and then Germany agreed to the terms and surrendered. -
End of World War II
On September 02, 1945 the war finally ended when Germany surrendered after Hitler death on April 30, 1945. Sadly President Franklin D. Roosevelt did not saw the day when Germany surrendered, However the allied forces still have to deal with Japan, the war ended when Truman to authorize the use of a new and devastating weapon–the atomic bomb–on the Japanese cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki in early August. Then Japan issued a statement accepting the terms of the Potsdam Declaration.
