    Hitler is elected the leader of Germany but he later made himself the supreme leader of Germany.
  • The Munich Pact

    The Munich Pact
    A pact signed by Germany, Britain, Italy, and France held in Berlin in which said that Germany can keep what land they took over in Czechoslovakia as long as they don't take over any more land. This delayed the invasion but Hitler later invaded the rest of Czechoslovakia and initially started WWII.

    Kristallnacht
    A series of coordinated attacks on the Jews throughout Germany and Austria. The German government saw this but did not intervene.
  • Invasion of Poland

    Germany invaded Poland and easily defeated the Polish army. After Germany took control of Poland, Britain and France declared war on Germany. Russia then took over Eastern Poland but Germany later took that over too.

    The evacuation of Allied forces who had been cornered by German forces after the Battle of France. This evacuation from the beaches of Dunkirk, France had given Germany full control of France.

    A surprise attack on the American navy base on Oahu, Hawaii by a Japanese fleet. This caused America to declare war on Japan.
  • Bataan Death March

    Bataan Death March
    U.S. General surrendered to a Japanese General in the Phillipines and 75,000 Filipino and American soldiers became prisoners. These prisoners were forced to march 80 miles to Camp O'Donnell and around 10,000 prisoners died during the march. The Allies found this as a war crime and punished Japan for its crimes.

    Japan tried to lure the American Navy into a trap but the American Navy discovered this and set up an ambush of their own. The Americans dominated the Japanese Navy in cost of an aircraft carrier and a destroyer. This battle made Japan's shipbuilding and pilot-training programs lose pace while Americans flourished.

    Operation including American,British, and Canadian forces that stormed the beach of Normandy and liberated Western Europe from Nazi-control.

    A meeting between the leaders of Britain, the US, and Russia, in which the three discussed the re-stablishment of the nations of Europe.

    Victory Over Japan Day in which is the day where the Japanese surrendered.
