  • Nuremburg Laws Created

    Laws made in Germany similar to jim crow laws stating that jew are inferior to German Nazis. These laws prohibited Jews from marrying or having sexual relations with Germans. The laws also deprived Jews of many political rights.
  • Munich Pact passed

    Signed by Great Britain, France, Italy, and Germany. Where the Sudetenland was surrendered to Germany. After Hitler had succes in austria
  • Adolf Hitler

    Adolf Hitler-The “Night of Broken Glass” - A planned attack on Jews, by Hitler’s Nazi Party, in Germany on November 9 and 10th of 1938, and this is known as Kristallnacht. This day was called the Kristallnacht because of the broken glass that filled the streets after the Jewish owned stores, building, etc, had the windows smashed.
  • Nuetrality Act passed

    Stated that America was as of that time staying out of the war.
  • Winston Churchill

    Winston Churchill- Became prime minister of Great Britain from 1940-1945, and led their fight against the Nazi Germans in WWII. While being the prime minister of Great Britain, he gave many speeches to boost the morale of the nation during the war.
  • Lend Lease Act Passed

    Stated that the US was allowed to give military aid to foreign nations.
  • Atlantic Charter

    Teddy Roosevelt and Prime Minister Winston Churchill had a conference on a warship sailing the Atlantic deciding they would fight the axis powers.
  • Joseph Stalin

    Joseph Stalin-On August 1942 through February of 1943, The Battle of Stalingrad occurred and the Germans are defeated, making this one of the turning points in the war. Stalin led the Soviets and Hitler led the Germans. Although over 150,000 Germans died in this battle, Joseph Stalin and the Soviets won the Battle of Stalingrad, making this a humiliation of Hitler.
  • Harry S Truman

    Harry S Truman- In the year 1945, Harry Truman made the choice to drop the first Atomic Bomb on Hiroshima, Japan. Truman decided to drop the Atomic Bomb on Hiroshima in order to try to get them to surrender. If Japan does not surrender, bombs will have to be dropped on her war industries and unfortunately thousands of civilian lives will be lost
