    The Sudetenland was annex by German between October 1 and October the 10. Germany wanted to annex the Sudetenland because Hitler wanted to reunite the German people since many germans were split after the first world war.     Pearl Harbor was a Navel base built in 1911 and was attacked from the air form Japanese airplanes on December 7, 1941. This attack is was prompted president Franklin Delano Roosevelt to asked congress for a formal decoration of war on the Japanese. Once the battle begins Russia is able to hold off the Nazi invaders.1942 With little supplies left the USSR had suffered a loss. But Frontally for the Russians winter begins to settle in and the germans were not use to fighting such weather, the Russians begin to slowly take back Stalingrad until they finally recaptured it in March.

    7 August 1942 and 9 February 1943 Guadalcanal or known as Operation Watchtower it was a military campaign for the island of Guadalcanal in the Pacific Theater.     Island hopping was a tactic used by both the American and Japanese Government to capture Island in the Pacific and to set up advance forward outpost for their troop. Island Hopping was also known as Leapfrogging. Why did the U.s defend the Pacific? One very good reason was the attack on Pearl Harbor by the Japanese, another was the Japanese had taken control of the Philippines, the United States had interest in the Philippines.

    Soviet forces begin to attack the city from three different places the East, the South and the North. On April 20 1945 both the North and the East troops begin shelling Berlin while the South Advancement broke through the Germans defenses. April 20 also happened to be Hitler's birthday. HIs wife also took a cyanide capsule.     The meeting at Potsdam was the Big three coming together. The Big Three, American President Harry S. Truman, British Prime Minister Winston Churchill and Soviet Premier Joseph Stalin. The Big Three came together to talk about the aftermath of the war in Europe and how to punish the war criminals and they also talked about the Pacific with the Japanese.     As the war came to an end The Allied Powers called for an unconditional surrender of the Imperial Japanese forces but the Japanese ignored it and the war continued on. The U.S would have two plans either attack Japan and loose thousands of soldiers or Drop the Atomic bomb. President Truman made the call to drop the First Atomic bomb on Hiroshima. This did not end the war and a 2nd was dropped on Nagasaki ending the war.
