President Roosevelt decides to help his begging allies England by signing the act to send supplies and money. -
Japan invades Pearl Harbor
After many peace talks and coded messages the Empire of Japan invades Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. Crippling the US naval forces. -
US declares war on Japan
President Rosevelt immediately takes action and convinces Congress to declare war on Japan, officially entering the US into WW2. -
Germany,Italy and Japan declare war on US
The axis powers Germany, Italy and Japan officially declare war on the US as a group. -
Battle of Midway
One of the many battles fought in the Pacific theater of WW2. Lasted for 4 days. American Victory. Considered the turning point of the Pacific Theater. -
Guadalcanal is captured by Allies officially
This campaign started in august of 1942 and contiued til february 1943. One of the many battles fought in the Pacific. This campaign had a significant amount of combined armed forces. -
D-Day Normandy, France
Dooms Day. Turning point of WW2 in the European Theater. Omaha Beach was the all American side of the operation. It was actually a surprise attack HIlter thought the Allies would attack further up the coast. -
Battle of the Bulge
This battle was part of the European Theater. it lasted from December !6 1944- January 25 1945. A brutal German campagin but Allies victory. Named the Bulge because of the way Allies front line bulged inward on wartime maps -
Battle of Iwo Jima
Another very important battle in the Pacific Theater. The iconic picture of the flag being raised was taken after this battle. That picture actually staged. This battle lasted 5 week and some of the fiercest and bloodiest fighting occured. -

Soviet Union victory. One of the last major offensive of the European Theater. Lasted from April 20 to May 2 1945. -
V-E Day
Victory in Europe Day. The Nazi forces officially surrender after on April 30 their leader HIlter committed suicide. -
Battle of Okinawa comes to a close
Lasted from April 1 to June 22 1945. Allies victory. one of the most amphibious assaults in the Pacific. -
WW II officially ends
The leader of Japan signs the surrender act. World War 2 officially ends in the Pacific and the entire world.
