Also known as D-Day and Operation Overlord, Allies landed on the beaches of Normandy, France. Thousands of men died during that battle. -
V-E Day
The day the Allies won the war in Europe. Then the Allies paid attention towards Japan. -
Atomic Bombings of Japan
America bombed the japanese cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. It took two tries to have Japan surrender. -
V-J Day
The day when the USA won the war in Japan. Japan was put under the control of General MacArthur.
